Settled and Closed - Timmins v. WeDriveU, Inc.

This class action lawsuit alleges wrongful conduct by Defendant WeDriveU, Inc. (“WeDriveU” or “Defendant”), by its unlawful failure to pay employees compensation for work without meal and rest periods in violation; failure to reimburse employees for work-related expenses, including but not limited to, the use of their personal cell phones to do their jobs; failure to provide accurate itemized wage statements to Plaintiff and other similarly situated aggrieved employees containing information required; failure to maintain accurate records of employees’ payroll records showing hours worked daily and wages earned failure to make agreed payments pursuant to vacation plans; failure to pay employees all wages due at the time of termination; and, failure to allot the minimum number of sick days to employees in violation of the minimum accrual requirements.

This matter was eventually consolidated with the related case of Davis v. WeDriveU, Inc. The parties were able to reach a settlement of all claims.

On November 15, 2019, the Court granted final approval of the Settlement. Funds were distributed and the case is now closed.
