Plaintiff alleges wrongful conduct by Defendant Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc., by its unlawful failure to: (1) pay employees regular and overtime pay; (2) reimburse employees for work related expenses; and, (3) provide accurate wage statements to employees as required by California law.
On October 8, 2015, the Court entered an order certifying this case as a class action. Defendant's Motion to Decertify the class is scheduled for hearing on March 24, 2021.
On September 9, 2016, the Court granted Defendant's Motion for Summary Adjudication and denying Plaintiff's Motion for Summary Adjudication. Plaintiff has appealed this order and the case is currently pending before the Court of Appeal. On June 2, 2020, the Court of Appeal ordered the trial court to vacate its order granting summary adjudication in favor of defendant on the issues set forth in the parties’ stipulation and enter a new order denying defendant’s summary adjudication motion in its entirety.
This matter has been settled and Class Notices were mailed on June 2, 2023.
