Settled and Closed – Maciel v. Vance Uniformed Protective Services, Inc./Garda Security, Inc.

Plaintiff brought this action on behalf of herself and those similarly situated alleging Vance/Garda required security guards to maintain required uniforms without compensation, required security guards to attend training without compensation and required security guards to work through meal periods and arrive early for shifts without receiving compensation. The Court granted final approval of a $2,500,000 class action settlement, funds were disbursed and the case is now closed.
