Settled and Closed- Phillips v. Pacific States Petroleum, Inc.

This lawsuit alleges that Defendant Pacific States Petroleum, Inc.’s (hereinafter “Defendant”) retaliated against Plaintiff in response to Plaintiff’s refusal to falsify the number of hours he was driving in the company “logbook,” in violation of California Labor Code section 1102.5, subdivision (c); and, thereafter wrongfully terminated Plaintiff in violation of California public policy, embodied in California Labor Code section 1102.5 (b).

After participating in a mediation, the parties were able to reach a settlement of all claims. The case closed on december 24, 2020.
