Settled and Closed – Nolan v. Kayo Oil

Nolan asserted that Kayo Oil failed to properly calculate the regular rate of pay of its hourly employees for the purposes of overtime compensation and failed to provide the employees with off duty rest breaks as required by the California Labor Code. The parties reached a settlement. The court granted final approval of the class action settlement on April 12, 2013, funds were disbursed and the case is now closed.
